This English Light Dragoon pattern pistol was produced in the late 18th century.  This pistol underwent restoration in my shop, to repair broken triggerguard and trigger, replace missing top jaw and screw on the lock, and replace missing small sections of wood above and ahead of the lock.   This piece highlights the spectrum of repairs an antique might require, from wood replacement and matching, to new iron parts, and joining old and new brass together seamlessly.
