Built on commission in which the operative word was "delicate", this small tomahawk is roughly styled after English forgings of the late 18th century, but with some artistic license taken in the overall decoration and design. The head was modified from a commercially available casting. Poured pewter "tear drop" designs are a some artistic license taken, loosly based on some original motifs. The head is Inlaid with two silver hearts and finished off with a floral engraved silver end cap to contrast the aged steel.
